International Supply Chain | Dr. Oetker

Our modern age is characterised by one thing above all else: uncertainty. This makes reliable planning increasingly difficult and has a direct impact on the entire supply chain. As a food manufacturer, Dr. Oetker is particularly affected, as perishable raw materials and end products place high demands on inventory management. The consequences can be excess stock or stockouts. This workshop highlights the interesting tension between product availability in retail and an efficient supply chain. The focus is on the interplay between sales, planning and distribution and how bottlenecks can be avoided and stocks optimised through clever coordination.
